Sequence Diagram Editor is a simple, yet extremely effective, tool for creating and maintaining sequence diagrams. It uses a text based input form interface for data entry, with full support for auto-complete, and shows you the changes to the resulting diagram as you make them.

Quick Sequence Diagram Editor is a tool for creating UML sequence diagrams from textual descriptions of objects and messages that follow a very easy syntax.

It supports actors, constructors, destructors, threads and on-diagram comments that can be used to represent conditions or loops (see example).

Thanks to the FreeHEP Vectorgraphics library, diagrams can be exported in various formats, including PDF, (E)PS, SVG, SWF, EMF, GIF, JPEG.

Quick Sequence Diagram Editor automatically lays out lifelines and messages, there is no need to drag and drop something onto a canvas. So a user should be able to create a nice sequence diagram in a small fraction of the time that one of the grand UML tools would consume.

The aim of the tool is to save you from lots of the stupid work that WYSIWYG applications require, by trading off not too much flexibility. It beats these applications by far when it comes to insert or remove objects and messages. This can be done by just inserting or removing a line of text, the tool will do all the rest.

SequenceDiagram.org is an online tool / software for creating UML sequence diagrams. Founded in 2014 with the purpose to improve the efficiency when creating and working with sequence diagrams by combining text notation scripting and drawing by clicking and dragging in the same model.

All parsing, processing, and drawing is done client side. The benefit of this is that SequenceDiagram.org is fast and convenient to work with; it also doesn’t transfer your diagram data over the Internet like many other sequence diagram tools on the market. This also means that it is possible to work with the tool offline.

The tool is developed, maintained, and used by people who create a lot of sequence diagrams in their daily work. If you have any question / comments / suggestions / bugs please contact info@sequencediagram.org. The more feedback we get the better we can prioritize.
